2 hours before you want to go to sleep, clip on the magnetic Night-time Blue Light Blocking Lens which is amber coloured . Combined with the daytime lenses mounted in the frame, they block out over 90% of all blue wavelength light. By blocking out the blue light, your body is able to start producing melatonin, which will help you fall asleep. Do you watch TV in bed or look at your phone late at night? While light of any kind can suppress the secretion of melatonin, blue light at night does so more powerfully. Harvard researchers conducted an experiment comparing the effects of 6.5 hours of exposure to blue light to exposure to green light of comparable brightness. The blue light suppressed melatonin for about twice as long as the green light and shifted circadian rhythms by twice as much.
